Management Focus is a specialist economic development consultancy that focuses on generating and interpreting evidence to underpin strategies, policies and projects. We are passionate about the quality of our evidence and making sure that it tells a coherent and robust story.

Martin Houghton set up Management Focus in 2002 following 25 years experience in economic and business development and project management. Martin’s experience of the private and third sectors has helped position the company at the interface between public agencies and business.

We seek to provide our clients with insights and market intelligence that helps them make decisions based on evidence rather than speculation. This is not always easy, so we expect to be challenged and constantly seek to deliver better quality and evidence that our clients can use with confidence.

Our teams are always multi-disciplined and include both quantitative and policy expertise.
