London MICE

London MICE is a pioneering business cluster initiative based in London’s Bankside.  It brings together businesses in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions industry with the aim of promoting collaboration and winning new business.  Originally focused on London South Central London MICE now draws members from across the capital.  Over 1500 suppliers ranging from venues, event organizers, AV suppliers, caterers and corporate entertainers are listed on the website www.londonmice.co.uk . 

London MICE grew out of the City Growth Strategy for London South Central.  Setting it up involved:

• Securing an industry leader as Cluster Champion,
• Setting up a limited guraantee, not-for-profit company,
• Recruiting a Board of Directors,
• Securing funding from a range of sources,
• Agreeing a programme of work,
• Delivering a range of benefits for members that include events, promotions and attending trade shows, and
• Setting up the London MICE website.

London MICE is now acknowledged to be a key business resource for the MICE industry in London, as well as being a leading example of good practice in cluster development.
