We operate in two distinct roles; either as traditional economic development consultants or as interim managers. The interim format provides a cost-effective and flexible way to introduce specific expertise, new thinking or add resource to undertake a crucial project.
Over the last eight years we haveworked on assignments using both roles.
In this period we have generated skills and expertise in a number of working methods:
Generating detailed evidence bases
Project Evaluation
Developing strategy
Managing programmes
Setting up cluster initiatives
Preparing sector strategies
In all cases we have worked hard to ensure that strategies and initiatives are based on good evidence and that we have been creative in developing new approaches to persistent challenges.
Our approaches are well illustrated through a number of case studies.
